Caregiver Screening
At Elderlink, we take great care in the caregivers we refer. Each caregiver completes a thorough, multi-step screening process that includes a multi-state criminal background check, Social Security trace, abuse registry check, and driving record review.
Once screening and employment verification are complete, we meet personally with each caregiver for an in-depth orientation. This allows us to better understand their experience, skill level, and personality, so we can make thoughtful, well-matched referrals. We also work to build strong relationships with our caregivers, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
While non-medical caregivers are not required to have formal certifications, we are committed to matching you with someone whose experience and abilities align with your specific needs.
