Caregiver Screening
Each caregiver undergoes a very thorough, four-part screening process, which includes a multi-state criminal background check, social security trace, abuse registry check, and driving record check. Upon completion of screening and employment verification, we conduct a very thorough two-hour meeting with each caregiver. During this meeting, we get to know each caregiver and get an understanding of their experience, skill level, and personality. We work hard to create an exceptional working relationship with each caregiver and make sure they understand how much they are valued and appreciated. Caregivers referred by Elderlink assist clients with the activities of daily living: things we all do every day, but often get difficult with age and illness. Since non-medical caregivers are not required to have any certifications or formal training, Elderlink strives to match you with a caregiver whose skillset and experience meet your needs.
